Total War Empire: Expansion pack

Postby Happy-Camper » Thu Mar 12, 2009 2:53 am

Ok, i was talking to Xanem and we were talking about the expansion pack.

As we see it, there are 2 options to;
1. Napoleon
2. American civil war.

After discussing it a bit. We found American civil war to be the most likely, because Napoleon would not add real new gameplay. On the other hand perhaps the American civil war is just to much changes.

But taking the "Road to independence" is the big new feature in Empire. A Civil war pack would be logical.
Would be interesting to see what they do with the naval battles.

These ships were not common in the civil war, but they were the most famous.

Especialy the fight between the USS Monitor and the CSS Virginia.

Lets look what a Napoleon expansion can bring us:
1. The Invasion of Russia 1812

Think about new war tactics as: Scorched earth. A trap Hitler would fall in again over a 100 years later.

2. Battle of Waterloo (18 June 1815) England, Netherlands and Prussia vs. France

Commanders: France: Napoleon Bonaparte, England: The Duke of Wellington, Prussia Gebhard von Blücher, Netherlands: Willem II (PAY ATTENTION DUTCH PEOPLE)

On water:
Battle of Trafalgar (21 October 1805) British Royal Navy vs. French Navy-Spanish Navy

Commanders: England: Horatio Nelson, France: Pierrede Villeneuve, Spain: Federico Gravina

Gunboat War (1807–1814) Denmark–Norway vs. British Navy (PAY ATTENTION COOLKD)
